Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2026-09-10
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods by Alexandra Képes e.v. (the “Seller”) through the website fedra.store to the purchaser (the “Customer”). The Seller’s identification details are set out in the Imprint. By placing an order, the Customer accepts these Terms. The contract is concluded in English and is not filed by the Seller in a way that would make it separately retrievable afterwards; the Customer receives the contract terms by email together with the order confirmation.
2. Products and availability
The Seller offers leather bags produced in limited quantities. Each bag carries the FÉDRA Relief, a 3D-printed element.
The colour of the Relief shifts across each individual piece, and leather is a natural material with variation in grain, tone and surface. Such variation is a characteristic of the product and does not constitute a defect. Product photographs are illustrative; colours may appear differently depending on the Customer’s screen.
The Seller does not accept orders for individually specified or personalised colour combinations. All items offered are standard products.
Each piece is made in very small numbers, and some exist only once. Stock is reduced as soon as an order is placed, so a piece that has sold out can no longer be ordered. If two orders for the last available piece are placed at the same moment, the piece goes to the order whose payment reaches the Seller first; the Seller informs the other Customer without delay and refunds the full amount within 14 days, using the same means of payment.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euro (EUR). The Seller is a small enterprise exempt from value added tax; no VAT is charged and no VAT is shown separately on the invoice. The prices displayed are final prices.
Delivery is free of charge to all destinations listed in clause 6. The price valid at the time the order is placed applies. The Seller reserves the right to correct manifest pricing errors; in such a case the Seller informs the Customer, who may then withdraw from the order.
4. Ordering and conclusion of the contract
The Customer selects the product, adds it to the basket, provides the delivery and billing details, chooses a payment method, and submits the order using the button marked as an order with an obligation to pay. Before submitting, the Customer can review and correct all entered data.
The Seller confirms receipt of the order by email without undue delay, and in any event within 48 hours. The contract is concluded when the Seller sends a separate confirmation that the order has been accepted. If the confirmation of receipt does not reach the Customer within 48 hours, the Customer is released from the offer.
The Customer may order with or without creating an account. Where an account is created, the Customer is responsible for keeping the password confidential and may request the deletion of the account at any time.
5. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. The following methods are accepted: bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and payment link. The Seller does not receive or store card details. The goods remain the property of the Seller until the purchase price has been paid in full.
The Seller issues an electronic invoice for every order and sends it to the email address given at checkout.
6. Delivery
The Seller delivers to all Member States of the European Union, namely: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Delivery is free of charge to all of these destinations.
Orders are dispatched within 3 business days of receipt of payment. Within Hungary, delivery usually takes 1–3 business days to a parcel locker and 2–3 business days to an address. Within the European Union, delivery usually takes 3–7 business days, and up to 9 business days to more distant destinations. These are the carrier’s usual transit times, not guaranteed delivery dates.
Delivery is handled by FoxPost Kft. (Packeta), insured and tracked; a tracking number is sent by email on dispatch. Parcels delivered to a parcel locker are held for 5 calendar days, and this period cannot be extended.
If a parcel is not collected within that period and is returned to the Seller, the Seller contacts the Customer to arrange redelivery. The cost of the second delivery is borne by the Customer.
Where the Customer is a consumer, the risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer when the Customer, or a third party indicated by the Customer, takes physical possession of the goods.
7. Right of withdrawal
A Customer who is a consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which the Customer, or a third party indicated by the Customer, takes possession of the goods.
To exercise this right, the Customer must inform the Seller of the decision to withdraw by a clear statement sent to clientservices@fedra.store or to the postal address given in the Imprint. The model withdrawal form set out in Annex 1 may be used but is not obligatory. The deadline is met if the statement is sent before the 14-day period expires.
The goods must be returned to Alexandra Képes e.v., 1115 Budapest, Somogyi út 17/a, ground floor 1, Hungary, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the withdrawal statement. The Customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.
The Seller reimburses all payments received without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of being informed of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment as the original transaction. The Seller may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received back or the Customer has supplied evidence of having sent them back.
The Customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
8. Warranty
In the event of defective performance, the Customer may enforce a supplier’s warranty claim against the Seller and a product warranty claim against the manufacturer. The detailed statutory information on these rights is set out in Annex 2.
Damage caused by ordinary wear and tear, improper use, exposure to water or heat, or unauthorised repair is not covered.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints may be sent to clientservices@fedra.store. The Seller investigates and responds in writing within 30 days.
Complaints may also be submitted to the consumer protection authority: Budapest Főváros Kormányhivatala (Government Office of the Capital City Budapest), consumer protection department.
The Customer may also initiate proceedings before the conciliation board competent at the Customer’s place of residence or at the Seller’s registered seat: Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület), 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99., 3rd floor 310. · Postal address: 1253 Budapest, Pf. 10. · Email: bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu · Telephone: +36 1 488 2131.
In cross-border consumer disputes, the Customer may contact the European Consumer Centre Hungary: magyarefk.hu
Nothing in these Terms limits the Customer’s right to bring the dispute before a court.
10. Intellectual property
All content on fedra.store, including the FÉDRA name and logo, the FÉDRA Relief designs, product photographs and text, is the property of the Seller and may not be reproduced or used without prior written consent.
11. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy available at https://fedra.store/privacy-policy/
12. Final provisions
The Seller may amend these Terms at any time; the version in force at the time the order is placed applies to that order. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force. These Terms are governed by Hungarian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer resides.
Annex 1 — Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To Alexandra Képes e.v., 1115 Budapest, Somogyi út 17/a, ground floor 1, Hungary — clientservices@fedra.store:
I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract of sale of the following goods:
Ordered on / received on: ______________________
Name of consumer(s): ______________________
Address of consumer(s): ______________________
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ______________________
Date: ______________________
Annex 2 — Information on warranty rights
A. Supplier’s warranty for conformity
In which cases may you exercise your right? In the event of defective performance by the Seller, you may enforce a supplier’s warranty claim against the Seller under the rules of the Civil Code and, where you are a consumer, of Government Decree 373/2021 (VI. 30.).
What rights do you have? You may request repair or replacement, unless meeting the chosen claim is impossible or would result in disproportionate additional costs for the Seller. If you did not or could not request repair or replacement, you may request a proportionate reduction of the price, or, as a last resort, withdraw from the contract. You may switch from one warranty right to another; the cost of the switch is borne by you, unless it was justified or caused by the Seller.
What is the time limit? You must report the defect without delay after discovering it, and no later than two months after discovery. You may no longer enforce your supplier’s warranty rights after two years from the performance of the contract.
Against whom may you enforce it? Against the Seller.
What other conditions apply? Within one year of performance, there is no condition other than reporting the defect, provided you prove that the product was supplied by the Seller. After one year from performance, you must prove that the defect already existed at the time of performance.
B. Product warranty
In which cases may you exercise your right? In the event of a defect in the product, you may, at your option, enforce a supplier’s warranty claim or a product warranty claim.
What rights do you have? You may only request the repair or replacement of the defective product.
When is a product defective? A product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force when it was placed on the market, or if it does not have the characteristics described by the manufacturer.
What is the time limit? You may enforce a product warranty claim within two years of the product being placed on the market by the manufacturer. After that period, this right is lost.
Against whom and under what conditions? Against the manufacturer or distributor of the product. In the event of a product warranty claim, you must prove the defect.
When is the manufacturer released from liability? Where it proves that the product was not manufactured or placed on the market in the course of its business; or that the defect was not detectable according to the state of science and technology at the time of placing on the market; or that the defect results from the application of legislation or a mandatory official requirement. The manufacturer needs to prove only one of these grounds.
You may not enforce a supplier’s warranty claim and a product warranty claim for the same defect at the same time. If your product warranty claim is successfully enforced, you may enforce your supplier’s warranty claim against the manufacturer for the replaced product or repaired part.
C. Guarantee
No mandatory guarantee applies to the goods sold by the Seller under Hungarian law, and the Seller does not undertake a voluntary guarantee. This does not affect the statutory rights described above.
